MED TRYK PÅ, HuskMitNavn
HuskMitNavn (b. 1975) has been a significant figure in both the graffiti and art world for over 20 years, and his works have been recognized by both the general population and the art community. With roots in street art and a strong personal expression, he has had solo exhibitions at galleries and museums at home and abroad and created a large number of public decorations and graphic works. His work has been a regular part of Danish art museums' collections and appeals with his humorous, satirical depiction of everyday life. In MED TRYK PÅ HuskMitNavn, a retrospective collection of the artist's graphic production with over 150 works is presented. The book illuminates his versatile approach to graphics – from lithography to silkscreen – and the personal and often humorous tone that characterizes his universe. At the same time, the book contains an interview in which HuskMitNavn reflects on his art and the work under a pseudonym, as well as a text by art historian Peter Ole Pedersen, which explores the relationship of his graphic work to the masses. The book is published in collaboration with the Kastrupgårdsamlingen The book has been published with support from Grosserer L.F.
